WOOKEY FILMS ADDS 5 NEW STAFF MEMBERS TO ITS FULL TIME IN-HOUSE TEAM THIS SEASON

With a very busy production season ahead, Janelle and Jérémie have been extremely excited to be able to welcome 5 new staff members to its in-house crew.

Katy Slimmon has worked in the film and television production industry in various roles for 10 years. She joins Wookey as a Line producer and will be working mainly in unscripted development and production and on Manaachihtow: À la rescousse des animaux sauvages, which is a 26 episode children’s series for Radio-Canada.

Martin Lafrenière, previously with Manito Media, joins Wookey as a Senior DP and Editor and will be working primarily on ‘C’est moi qui décide!’ a 16 episode unscripted series for Unis Tv.

Elena Sturk-Lussier joins as Production Manager and will work primarily on scripted series, Banni, as well as on C’est moi qui décide!. She previously worked as a Production Coordinator and then Manager on seasons 2 and 3 of Encré dans la peau.

Last but certainly not least, Becca Berthelette and Sam Fréchette are both joining us as assistant editors and will work on all active productions from production through to delivery.
